OUR STORY

7th Generation Family-Owned Business

On September 30th, 1822, my great-grandfather’s great-grandfather, Robert “Bud” Wilson, made the first purchase of this farmland near the waters of Crowder’s Creek. He and his wife lived with his parents while he developed the land and built a log cabin homestead.

The Wilson Farm has been handed down from one generation to the next ever since. Through war, the arrival of electrification, industry, and urbanization, we have done our best to be good stewards of this land; providing crops and livestock for our family and yours.

HERITAGE BREEDS, HAPPY ANIMALS, AND GOOD STEWARDSHIP

On our farm you will only find heritage breeds of livestock. We believe the centuries, and often millennia, of animal husbandry that went into developing these breeds is the worth preserving.
